      ABOUT US :

NFT aims at promotion, support, research and education in music keeping in mind its universal character to bring about an awareness of music in society by exploring the spiritual and cultural dimension of music.
Some of the other aims and objects of the Trust are:

  • To engage in imparting education in music to explore the subtle aspects of music.
  • To conduct music workshops, concerts, seminars and symposiums.
  • To publish literature on music and engage in production of material relating to music in the form of both audio and visual albums.
  • To promote research in music.
  • To act as a support system by collaborating with other institutions with objects of like nature.
  • To facilitate the process of self-realization by making music an inner experience in silence.

We sincerely thank Guruji Sri K Pundalika Shenoy,  Sri Raj Narayan and Dr. Narayan Sawant who are pioneers in their respective field for being the patrons of our Trust. 

Founder / Trustee :
K.S.Rajesh – A well known Hindustani Classical Flautist, Music Composer and a talented Session Musician, with a long standing experience in the field of Music. He was initiated into the art of flute playing by his first Guru Sri.K.Pundalika Shenoy and has been presently continuing  his study  under the tutelage of the Legendary Flute Maestro- Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.  Apart from being a performer, Rajeshji is also an able teacher and Music Composer.  
K. S. Naveen Kumar – A Lawyer specializing in Central Excise, Customs and Service Tax matters.
Anitha Ramarao - Software Professional at Oracle, Bangalore. 
Suhas Chavan – Experienced in the field of Visual Design, works with an e-learning / web / multimedia company .
Sri. Basappa Hunashimarad – Served at M/s. Karnataka Agro Industries Corporation Limited for about 25 years in various capacities and retired as Manager – HRD.
In addition, we also have few members who have supported our activities.

Membership is open to individuals who agree with our aims and objectives. Presently our trust is supported by members and music lovers who are passionate about music.  
The support we have received from music lovers has been a source of inspiration for all our activities. We look forward to your support in future for all our activities to help us preserve the cultural and spiritual heritage of our country.  . Contributions and donations made to our trust qualify for exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
